Welcome to the World of PokéHumans

I created this blog to honor the more human side of Pokémon. While Pokémon is known for the Pocket monsters you catch along your journey, the humans can be just as interesting. Whether that be the evil teams, champions, NPCs, or player character, I wanted to reflect on all of the humans that follow players on along the way.

However, the games aren’t the only places where these characters shine. There’s also the manga, movies, and the anime, as well as spinoffs like Pokémon Masters EX and Pokémon Chronicles. So long as they’re in the franchise in some way, they have a chance of being covered. All of which will have their own page based on either the type of character, spin-off, or fandom concept.

This is meant to be a place where you can learn a few things about the characters, inspiration behind aspects of them, and appreciating them. And not just in canon, but in fanon as well. Things like ships, theories and headcanons will be included. So if you enjoyed the “Giovanni is Ash’s Father” theory or wonder what kind of Steven Stone ships are out there, there will be chances to go over such topics.

And once I’ve gotten a system comfortably set, I’m planning to share some character themed playthroughs. I’ve done a few to help mix things up, like a Diantha playthrough in Sword and a Raihan playthrough in Scarlet (both of which will most likely get a overview for those interested) and I have a few that I’d like to do. For instance, a Wallace playthrough in Violet or a Volo run in either Brilliant Diamond, Shield, and/or Scarlet.
