My online handle has gone through a few changes over the years before settling on NatAttack862, which was meant to be a fun play on words with 862 being the PokéDex number for one of my favorite Pokémon, Obstagoon. Though you can call me Nat.
I’ve been following the franchise since the very beginning. 1998, for those of us outside of Japan. As one of my first anime and one of the few franchises I’ve followed since the beginning, I have a soft spot for Pokémon. And it’s a franchise that I’ve continued to enjoy, even when my focused interest has changed.
Though that’s not to say the franchise is without flaw. As much as I enjoy it, like with any media, I’d be lying if I said it was perfect.
I started The World of PokéHumans, because I was looking for a way to talk about the franchise I love in a way fun and engaging way. And since I’ve found myself enjoying the NPCs/Characters the franchise has brought to life, this sounded like a great way to do so. And when I’m comfortable, I’d like to possible do (recorded) playthroughs.
