How to Approach a Sycamore Run?
To coincide with by Lysandre run, and in honor of Legends Z-A, I decided to start a Violet playthrough based on Kalos’ resident professor. While working on it, I figured I would go over some tips for your own Sycamore playthrough, what games are the best for it, and to approach a team for a character who doesn’t really have one traditionally.
From Kalos to Paldea: Tips for a Lysandre Run
Lysandre was the second character run I did in Scarlet. I wanted to try something new and I had recently gotten into the character through Masters EX and my eventual first playthrough of X. Since I planned on restarting my Scarlet run to coincide with my Sycamore run in Violet and as a lead up to Legends Z-A, I thought I’d go over some of my tips for your own Lysandre run. This includes the best games to do them in, what games offer which Pokémon, and additions and alterations when needed.
Tips for Character Playthroughs: A Personal Guide
When it comes to playthroughs, everyone has their own way of approaching them. What kind of team they want to use, how to make sure it has as much coverage as possible, and so on. When it comes to character themed playthroughs, there will be things that will pop up. Such as, what game a character playthrough will be best in, what to do when a character doesn’t have a full team, what to do when the game doesn’t have all of the Pokémon the character has, and move sets. Here, I’ll discuss a few tips that I feel could help with these questions.
A Wandering Merchant: Tips for A Volo Playthrough
Now that I’ve finally completed Legends Arceus, I have decided that one of my next character playthroughs will be on Volo. As I considered which games to do one in, I’ve narrowed down a few games that could. Some with his entire team, just swapping Hisuian Arcanine for Kantonian, some with most of his team where Giratina could take up a spot, and some that would need one or two based on the system and availability.
